Overview:

The Inbound Process Improvement team is looking for a Project Manager with strong analytics experience & enthusiasm to join the team! In this role, you will be applying quantitative skills to answer high-level business and strategy questions and support operational initiatives. You will be joining a team of highly motivated and skilled individuals that has been tasked with creating a transformational best-in-class inbound supply chain. The Project Manager will have the ability to jump head-first into cross-functional projects but also work with the support of an experienced team. This role will require sifting through large amounts of data, drawing conclusions and interacting daily with stakeholders from several teams. This is a role for someone who thrives working on cross-functional projects with a “can do” attitude, the willingness to get to the bottom-of ambiguous challenges and has an eye for details… all while being resourceful and won’t mind rolling up their sleeves!

The work in this space is transformational and highly visible by senior leadership! Our goal is to manage and drive operational efficiencies within the domestic & international inbound space by working cross-functionally with teams within CastleGate, Logistics, and Engineering.

In this role you will:

  • Scope high-level business problems into more specific questions which can then be answered by data-driven analysis & optimized by outlining and driving improvement initiatives
  • Present data with a clear point of view so that insights can be used to help define & drive business strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to drive process efficiency and optimize performance with projects including but not limited to:
    • Take ownership with improving visibility into areas that will enhance program profitability - including partnership with corporate finance & others
    • Identify and analyze cost saving opportunities; provide direction & guidance to team regarding deep dive analysis
    • Provide insights for process improvements based on trend analysis
    • Provide program level updates on collaborative efforts that may not report directly to you (dotted line initiatives)
    • Act as a ‘quarterback’ across OPI, Finance, Transportation, CastleGate and others to drive Optimization agenda forward
    • Prioritize competing interests and focus project plans on the highest impact activities
    • Help define new and improve existing processes across functions
    • This role has potential for high visibility right from the start

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in data analytics
  • Strong quantitative and problem solving mindset with strict attention to detail
  • Experience presenting and communicating with senior management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Previous experience working with cross functional teams
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-reliant and able to motivate others
