Sr. Data Project Manager

The Sr. Data Project Manager supports Data (Sales, Marketing, Go to Market, Finance) and IT efforts across the organization and is a key role in supporting cross-functional communication, requirements gathering, and driving end-to-end data management processes and projects.   The Sr. Data Project Manager works closely with leadership throughout the organization to develop and execute Duck Creek’s Master Data Management strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the technical solution design and development to create a consistent source of master data across Duck Creek’s systems
• Develops and delivers standard reporting metrics, as defined by senior management , through collaboration with cross functional teams
• Establishes data governance rules, instituting standard validation activities, as well as ensuring proper change management practices from active through to discontinued/obsolete records.
• Partners with business stakeholders and technical teams to define and communicate business requirements, project scope, project milestones and deliverables
• Performs other related duties and activities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with demonstrated success in leading cross-functional implementation programs or projects

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:   

• Demonstrated knowledge of Master Data Management
• Ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong leadership skills across all levels of the organization
• Ability to confidently take direction from and present to executive management
• Excellent time-management, organizational, and analytical skills
• Strong financial understanding of business and IT; able to assess financial implications of decisions and actions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications as well as SQL and Power BI
• Knowledge of data structures of Salesforce and Workday a plus

Other Requirements:

• Travel: up to 10%
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location.
• Physical: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work
