Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver, with a member first mentality that will help drive revenue by collaborating with numerous internal teams to drive exposure of our world class brands and franchises in the e-commerce space. The Assistant Boutique Producer is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all ecommerce member-facing content, product set-up, and visual merchandising for Rue La La and Gilt websites. This role will collaborate with virtually every function in RGG to bring sales boutiques to market. Successful candidates are curious and passionate and always looking for ways to spark delight in our members, whether it be through process enhancements, fresh ideas, or innovation.
**This role is a 6 month contract to start**
ABOUT THE BOUTIQUE PRODUCTION TEAM:
- You may think it’s magic when new items hit Rue La La and Gilt sites every day, but there’s more to it than what meets the eye. This behind-the-scenes team makes all of our Boutiques happen – from inputting items on the site, coordinating images and copy, to reviewing boutiques to ensure perfection before launch.
THE ROLE
What you'll accomplish...
- Actively manage and maintain all facets of production of customer facing digital content on RueLaLa and Gilt websites including product details, descriptions, titles and images, and ensure SKUs are categorized accurately
- Set up new site pages/sections and campaign landing pages using content management tools
- Collaborate across Merchandising, Creative, Planning, and Programming teams to build and launch high quality online experiences
- Clearly communicate vision to the Creative team through comprehensive creative briefs; track execution to ensure ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing to deliver a cohesive story and best-in class customer experience
- Responsible for set up and execution of all daily/weekly/monthly website changes including managing/updating boutiques, product assortments, product information, product imagery, site functionality
- Collaborate daily with Buying, Planning and Programming to stay knowledgeable on product buys, delivery dates, and boutique/ product changes to influence business decisions
- Optimize site product recommendations and sorting to ensure best possible consumer experience and drive conversion
- Continual monitoring of the websites in a proactive manner to ensure that information is accurate, content is current, and pages are free of errors
- Work with Customer Service, Storefront, and other member-facing teams to ensure all necessary site issues are addressed
- Participate in our On-Call schedule

THE RIGHT FIT:
You Have..
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years’ experience in a Project Management, E-Commerce, Production or Merchandising role
- Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills
- A natural team player approach
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word & Excel, Google Docs
