SharkNinja is looking for a self-driven Senior Technical Project Manager with an Engineering background to join the Kitchenware team at our headquarters in Needham, MA. The Senior TPM's role is to join a global team, partnering with offices in US, London & China, and will be responsible for owning a delivering new product development on multiple projects within a category, on budget and to aggressive timelines. The TPM is the ‘glue’ within the team, aligning project direction and decision points with key members from all business disciplines. This role calls for an exceptional engineer with strong project planning and management skills who thrives on architecting innovative products and has a working knowledge of taking products through to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Set up, drive agenda and chair global calls/communication
• Work with all company disciplines to align on product requirements – communicating (frequent/ rapid) changes back to the technical teams.
• Distill and present key project risks/ status/ decision points to cross functional Boston teams (Marketing/ Quality/ PMO leads) – redirecting Engineering team based on outcome of these conversations
• Closely manage project spend, flagging risks and overspends regularly, and reporting out to finance once a month.
• Researching new technologies with constant learning of what would be possible for use tomorrow
• Collaborating cross-functionally throughout the development of new products

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferred or engineering role.
• Experience managing a project(s) through the entire lifecycle - preferably plastics or consumer products experience.
• Experience presenting regularly to senior stakeholders - board of directors/executive team experience desirable.
• Experience working in fast paced, challenging environment
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and limits
• Hands-on work ethic
• Skilled in Microsoft office user; including Excel, PowerPoint & MS Project
• Budget management is preferable
• Solid analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and relentless drive to identify potential problems and take responsibility for their resolution
• Flexible, enjoys switching gears, and working in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Experience in designing and testing small appliances is preferred
• Passion for cooking and food a plus!
