Role Description: Senior Technical Program Manager
Role Purpose:
Wasabi is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to provide hands-on project & program leadership. They will be responsible for developing, maintaining & driving our cross-functional plans for key projects. You will work across the Wasabi organization to ensure appropriate resources are assigned and provide insight into program readiness for decision making. We are seeking a candidate who is self-motivated and enjoys problem-solving.
To be successful in this role, you should have expertise in releasing software and hardware into production networks and thrive on working in a fast-paced startup environment with a customer first mentality. In this position, you should exhibit excellent communication skills, prior organizational leadership experience, demonstrated ability to manage through influence, and be a strategic problem-solver.
This role will report to the Senior Director of Program Management.
Responsibilities:

• Lead end to end resourcing, work planning, and execution of assigned Programs
• Work with teams to define integrated project plans and the deliverables required for the programs success
• Identify and manage dependencies and interdependencies between programs
• Manage the health of programs, tracking the project plan vs actual, and collaboratively work with the team on planning and risk mitigation
• Work independently and comfortably in ambiguous circumstances to create clear paths forward for teams
• Adopt best-practice guidelines to influence and aid in our team's continuous process improvement efforts

Requirements

• 5 years of project management or team leadership experience
• Experience in project or program management with large scale services
• Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and communicate complex ideas in a clear, effective, and motivating manner
• Positive attitude and solution focused to help customers, both internal and external
• Attention to detail, able to remain calm under pressure, and excellent problem-solving skills are required
• Knowledge of Agile methods and experience working with Jira
• Preferred Project Management qualifications (e.g., PMP, advanced Project Management certifications, Certified Scrum Master)
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
