The Role

We are actively recruiting a Senior Technical Program Manager who has the drive to address complexity in our fast paced environment.


As Senior Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for: The creation of scalable, consistent project management and execution practices around the Software Development Lifecycle to enable robust throughput of high quality development which contributes to the company’s growth strategies, revenue generation and culture. 


Collaborating with Senior Leadership stakeholders to set the strategic roadmap in place, management of roadmap delivery, portfolio level reporting.


Partner closely with Product Manager counterparts and Development leads to align and optimize delivery pathways, engage in active risk management


Manage a team of high performing individual contributors, leads and managers


Contribute to development of internal Program Management strategic growth vision, Standards & Practices

Responsibilities:

  • Management of globally distributed, cross-functional software engineering and development project portfolio
  • Manage work intake and capacity planning / resource load balancing
  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
  • Portfolio level risk and change management
  • Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions
  • Manage and report on program / project progress
  • Track and ensure resolution of roadblocks and throughput issues at the Portfolio level
  • Provide day-to-day coordination, execution and quality assurance for projects and tasks

What you bring to the party:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience as a technical Program Manager
  • At least 7 years of project and program management experience in software engineering, systems engineering 
  • At least 5 years experience with big data, data pipelines, data lakes, backend reliability, efficiency, data validation and/or performance work, data analysis, data science, data architecture
  • High level of familiarity with e-comm, finance, supply chain and wholesale 
  • At least 5 years direct management of people and teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with critical attention to details, along with good time and team priority task management
  • Collaborative teammate who thrives within an inclusive team and company where we respect and support individual choices 
  • Significant experience in the Atlassian offering suite and also more specifically in the use of the JIRA workflow management system, Confluence document storage (or similar)
  • Ability to create and run SQL queries within a database preferred but not required
  • Experience in managing Vendor selection and onboarding process management
