The Senior Project Manager - Product Development & Customer Programs will ensure the delivery of Perceptive Automata’s customer programs by ensuring all related projects are delivered on-time and within scope. This will entail working at the intersection of product, engineering, data science, business development, and operations. You will be the owner of all project plans and align the organization’s efforts using them. You’ll collaborate seamlessly across domains and teams, ensure alignment and transparency and ruthlessly drive to project delivery. You will have a deep passion for the work you do and know that you are helping to steer us towards our mission of bridging the gap between humans and machine intelligence to solving real-world problems using cutting-edge neuroscience and computer science.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Build and maintain project/initiative plans, including scope/deliverables, schedules, resourcing, contingencies, etc. for both internal and external use
  • Track progress across all projects/initiatives through regular check-ins and constant communication with relevant teams
  • Track dependencies and bottlenecks to ensure efficient and complementary workstreams
  • Identify and keep track of issues and risks, surfacing to Management for support when necessary 
  • Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders to ensure alignment of the organization
  • Develop appropriate reporting process that balances alignment and development speed
  • Own project documentation and reporting

Strongly Preferred Skills & Background: 

  • 5-10+ years of experience as a project/program manager with a proven track record of managing and delivering on multiple related projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years experience working in new product development
  • Expert user of project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet)
  • Experience working in a fast-moving and sometimes uncertain environment (e.g. startups, dynamic tech company) with technical / engineering teams
  • Proven ability to coordinate teams on key initiatives and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Also Helpful: 

  • PMP certification
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Prior experience in automotive and/or autonomous vehicle fields
