CA Veracode’s Services team is looking for a regional manager to lead a team of accomplished Enterprise Security Program Managers in their support of our leading application security testing platforms in our West region. 



In this role, the Regional Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a wide range of services that are based on the CA Veracode platform.  These include services designed to educate and enable our customers to manage their implementation as well as high-value services designed to inform customers of opportunities to optimize the application security risk profile of their applications and supporting processes for long-term success.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:



While the day-to-day responsibilities will vary, the following is a list of activities you will be responsible for:

 

  • Own a Services Program Backlog and ensure renewals and growth in the business, including increases in the number and size of deals and increasing average close rates.
  • Effectively manage a group of Program Managers, ensuring that they have the resources needed to be successful on client engagements and working hard to advance their capabilities and careers within CA Veracode.
  • Provide engagement oversight for all CA Veracode services in your assigned geographic region, ensuring delivery success and customer satisfaction. 
  • Be a point of escalation for the Program Managers.
  • Work directly with CA Veracode sales and customers to understand business and technical requirements and crafting delivery proposals and Statement of Work (SOW) contracts and project plans that will ensure successful execution.
  • Use your relationship management skills to assist the firm in expanding executive and senior-management-level awareness and engagement within our customer base.
  • Ensure 100% reference-ability across the Services customer base.
  • Develop consulting engagements designed to drive adoption of proper Application Security methodologies and CA Veracode product usage and value.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the best practices framework, which can be referenced by customers, prospects, and other external parties.
  • Work to shape internal processes that match the best practices and continuous improvement philosophies we share with customers.

 

 

Required Experience:

 

We are looking for a hard-working, eager team manager who will inspire and lead a world-class services organization. The requirements for the position include:

 

  • A college degree, preferably in information systems, computer science or other relevant field
  • Seven (7) or more years of technical consulting experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid understanding of the CA Veracode technology and services offerings in discussion with clients and prospects
  • Strong understanding and/or previous experience working with software development and QA testing teams in the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Proven experience in supporting the sales and account management teams throughout the services sales process
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team of program management personnel to realize their maximum potential
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; flexibility and strong attention to detail a must
  • Previous Team/Program Management experience
  • Ability to travel as needed within the Western US.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects and teams to ensure customer success and satisfaction
  • Understanding of key performance indicators and management strategies for embedded Services organizations.
  • Proven analytical experience.

 

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Previous management experience in a SaaS organization, Application Security experience preferred.
