ISV Program Manager 

The world loves Postgres. If you work with developers or data scientists or anyone wrangling data, you’ll probably see a sticker with the tusks and trunk of the Postgres elephant on the lid of a nearby laptop. EDB has a lot to do with that.

We’ve been major contributors to Postgres since the beginning, and we are proud to call thousands of boundary pushing customers our partners. Proud though we are, we are not resting on our laurels. There’s plenty of work to do. The good news is that everything we do will impact Postgres, which is to say that it will impact the world. No pressure.

The ISV (Independent Software Vendor) Program Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with EDB’s ISVs. In this role you will work with EDB’s product & development teams to ensure that ISVs successfully adopt and certify with EDB’s technology. The ISV Product Manager reports to the Principal Product Manager of Partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboarding and operational support for ISVs certifying their solutions and applications with the EDB product portfolio

• Organize and track ongoing ISV activities 

• Communicate schedules, priorities and status to key participants and stakeholders

• Organize and coordinate ongoing work with the ISV Engineers and EDB product teams

• Drive cross-functional initiatives and execute change management across EDB teams

• Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire EDB product line

• Provide clear and constructive product feedback to EDB’s product management teams based on customer requirements

• Develop a structured and data-driven approach to tracking business progress and metrics for success 

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management, program management, partner or business development, alliance management in the technology industry; cloud experience preferred

• Project management leadership experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and communications.

• Be familiar with database concepts and building applications for PostgreSQL, Oracle, or other databases

• Strong technical skills, specifically in data management platforms and technical architecture

• Strong analytical skills regarding technical and project management issues

• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands

• Ability to credibly engage with senior architects and developers at technology organizations

• B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training or industry experience preferred
