Job Summary

Summary:

The Program Manager will serve as a leader playing an integral role in the future of the Nuance Enterprise Division by driving a strategic set of business programs to accelerate the optimization and growth of Nuance Enterprise globally

 

Duties and responsibilities:

In this role, you will work across the organization with key business leaders leveraging the skills and knowledge of program management and business transformation to lead and deliver on the strategic divisional objectives.

The role is responsible for all aspects of the management of a program’s activities including program development, launch, execution, measurement, tracking and reporting.
•Develop and manage a comprehensive program, set of programs or complex projects that support the Nuance Enterprise strategic direction, ensuring desired objectives are achieved in a timely manner
•Drive and manage strategic programs / projects by developing plans, schedule, budget, distributing tasks, track performance, provide feedback, resolve issues and manage change to optimize program/project performance 
•Create and achieve cross-functional alignment on program objectives, critical success factors, key performance indicators and value-driven outcomes
•Develops key hypothesis and supervises cross – functional program/project teams in conducting interviews, gathering data, defining and executing required analyses, identifying issues and problems and recommending approach to address them
•Establish metrics and dashboards to measure the level of success of each initiative. Develop, measure, track, and report on programs progress and impact against objectives
• Identify, create and maintain necessary artifacts (i.e. charter, agendas, status reports, project plans), reporting needs and manage action items and follow up
•Develop and execute internal rollout plans including internal training and communications planning

In addition, this role will:
•Drive multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize in a fast paced environment
•Provide subject matter expertise and industry best practices related to business transformation. 
•Own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams
•Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and best practices processes current and relevant

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred

 

Years of experience: 6-8

 

Required Skills:

•8+ years of progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency in delivering results
•5+ years in a Program/Project Management Office or related environment in a global organization leading transformational change programs and managing cross functional project teams
•Proven communication skills with C-level executives and senior management including the ability to create and deliver executive level presentations
•Cross functional leadership skills with the ability to instill trust and utilize influence in a matrix organization to produce results.
•Ability to build comprehensive project plans consisting of business analysis findings, strategic direction, data supported conclusions and timelines
•Ability to use conceptual and innovative thinking (i.e. identifying new/different solutions) to solve issues. Able to look beyond immediate problems for wider implications and determines best path forward.
•Attentive to detail and quality oriented; ability to execute in a timely and accurate manner
•Ability to understand and analyze reporting metrics
•Ability to work independently, superior organization and planning skills to plan and prioritize work and respond to conflicting deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgement, discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable improved processes and manage ambiguity.
•Expert level knowledge and experience in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel is essential in this role.

 

Preferred Skills:

•PMI PMP, Six Sigma green/black belt certification highly preferred. Business process documentation and experience with Six-Sigma and Lean Thinking
