The Tech Community & Commitee Coordinator will be part of the Healthcare Cloud Enablement team and will focus on strategic programs to drive Nuance’s technology transformation.

 

This role will be strategic and hands-on working alongside the team’s architects and leadership to craft programs that foster technical innovation. You will contribute by helping define these programs and projects (setting or validating objectives, creating milestones, data gathering and analysis, driving process improvements). 

 

The person in this role will be responsible for the delivery of highly visible and complex projects and programs for Cloud Enablement. Ensuring that programs can be realized through planning, follow-through, and cooperation while providing meaningful impact through data-driven decision making and consistent communications.

 

Projects may include: 

  • Managing our Nuance Playbooks program to deliver an open contribution publishing documentation platform for the business.
  • Managing embedded engineering programs for cloud adoption and maturity improvements, in partnership with HC product teams.
  • Managing proof of concepts and incubators developed by the CE team in open contribution model for the business.
  • Committees & Communities programs, driving collaboration within Healthcare and the wider business through the Cloud Enablement Committee, Core Platform Committee, and Healthcare Communities of Practice.
  • Training and learning initiatives for Cloud. Such as Healthcare Bootcamps and Tech Summits.
  • Ensure the team lives our Agile principles and processes, in alignment with Healthcare’s Agile model.

The right candidate will have experience managing multiple successful complex programs and leading cross-functional teams with the ability to influence others outside of direct authority. This person thrives to take on challenges and influence others towards action, leveraging their broad expertise and skills to resolve complex issues and achieve goals effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders including R&D teams, Product Managers, Security Partners, and Business Owners to drive strategic program and special project execution successfully
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) with the ability to distill complex concepts for a variety of audiences and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels including senior leadership
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up sleeves to get job done
  • Independent thinker able to understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs and actively manage risks and untangle dependencies
  • High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Leverage organizational savvy to resolve complex issues between various functional groups
  • Lead and facilitate collaborative and transparent information exchanges to ensure alignment and action
  • Foster a culture of extreme ownership and accountability for results
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of our processes
  • Ask the right challenging questions while understanding technology implications to uncover a better way
  • Orchestrate programs that cross geographical, organizational, and functional boundaries

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of Program Manager experience for large or global programs
  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects in-parallel across complex programs
  • 5+ years of program management skills with experience in influencing others
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance immediate and longer-term tasks and requirements
  • Energetic servant leader who is passionate about excellence while exhibiting a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm
  • Strong relationship building with the ability to partner and engage with all levels of individual contributors and management
  • Agent of change who is not only comfortable with ambiguity, but embraces change as an opportunity for growth 
  • Strong communication skills able to tailor message to audience, comfortable with public speaking and presenting to senior leaders
