Responsibilities:

  • Quickly come up to speed on our Global Markets Portfolios
    • Understand capital management policies
    • Have full audit of portfolio with regards to working capital management
    • Become a contributing team member to Pricing Desk daily operations
  • Own and execute the relevant processes and operations as they relate to our Portfolios within Global Markets
    • Own the risk thresholds of customer MPP’s (our Managed Pricing Program)
    • Run working capital management operations
    • Understand and execute daily book open/close
  • Own and drive relevant strategy and help contribute to continuous improvements
    • Present any revised working capital management strategies
    • Present new strategies to manage the portfolio Greeks

Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of derivatives and pricing
  • Highly disciplined
  • Recognizes market opportunities and develops a plan of execution to capitalize on opportunity
  • Can articulate difference between Hedging and Speculation
  • Demonstrates accountability in times of stress
  • Customer-centric view
  • Comfortable engaging in constructive debate with upper level managers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of market experience
  • Experience previously owning a P&L
  • Experience previously managing a portfolio
  • Software engineering background a nice to have
  • Teaching Hedging / Price Risk Management strategies experience a nice to have
  • Boston-based or able to travel Boston on demand (travel up to 25%)
