Payments Education Manager

As the Payments Education Manager, you’ll provide continuous support and delivery of ongoing education and training for Sales teams at Toast. You’ll be the dedicated enablement resource whose primary responsibility is to own the success of Account Executives in regards to payment processing, where Toast sees a massive opportunity to improve our team’s ease with these products. The Payments Success Manager will also assist with training and onboarding for new Payment Operations Analysts.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with Fintech and Payments leaders to bring their product strategy to the sales team
- Lead Payments training sessions for Account Executives and Payment Ops Analysts by partnering with stakeholders to analyze team needs & develop specialized content
- Partner with the Sales Enablement Team to develop classroom style training, online/on-demand tutorials and certifications, and videos
- Utilizing core competencies, create relevant correlations between training and key performance indicators
- Partner with senior sales leadership to organize and present round tables, events & seminars in order to support goal attainment and other leadership initiatives
- Create and launch an onboarding program for new Payment Operations Analysts in partnership with Payment Operations leaders
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- Experience in sales, sales management, or sales enablement in the Payments industry
- Deep understanding of payment processing, including market pricing strategies, interchange and network fees
- Proven track record of mentorship
- Comfortable presenting with the ability to command an audience
- Experience creating net new enablement/training materials
- Salesforce (or other CRM) experience & reporting
Special Sauce* (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves)
- Litmos, Brainshark or other LMS/CMS system is a plus
- Knowledge of Google sites and Google Suite preferred
