The Role

The Packaging and Compliance Operations Analyst will ensure the day-to-day success of a portfolio of products. Working closely with Brand Managers, and Supply Chain, this person will work to ensure all products meet internal and external standards for compliance and packaging strategy. We need an extremely organized person that is comfortable working with all levels of management. This would include but not be limited to: running point in reviewing all relevant materials, communicating across internal/external partner channels about timing, and expectations related to deliverables to improve key packaging and compliance metrics.

Some specific responsibilities include:

  • Analyze ASIN level data to identify items out of compliance standards.
  • Work cross-functionally in a project management capacity to improve on key packaging and compliance metrics.
  • Optimize the current processes to scale our teams’ efforts more quickly and effectively.
  • Develop new processes to support revenue goals by ensuring compliance needs are met without impairing growth/revenue targets.
  • Liaise with department heads and leads to identify and communicate opportunities, improvements, nuances, and key initiatives.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting for inventory catalog, demonstrating progress in catalog compliance, packaging costs, and sustainable packaging efforts.
  • Strongly contribute to the continuing development of high internal standards for packaging and compliance.

What You Bring To the Party

  • 2-4 years' experience in an analytical function for a start-up or other fast-paced, high-growth company, or in management consulting.
  • Proven experience digging through data, running reports, drawing conclusions, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues, brand direction, and best practices cross-functionally to other departments (marketing, SEO, creative) and make decisions without a lot of oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with external partners to drive results
  • Proficient to advanced Excel skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience with GS1 standards, packaging strategy, and sustainability efforts is a plus, but not required.
