Peapod Digital Labs and the Omnichannel Deployment  Team are driven by putting the customer at the center of all they do and are constantly looking for ways to evolve the customer experience through the development and execution of new projects and initiatives across our six brands and two service centers. The Strategy Implementation Manager oversees the implementation of ADUSA's most-impactful strategic projects/initiatives. Projects/initiatives may be executed across any or all of the six brands in support of delivering an omnichannel experience.

Although these projects/initiatives will generally be multi-year and transformational in nature, the person in this role will work in a fast-paced team environment that provides a variety of assignments week to week

Strategy Implementation Managers will take strategies and work cross-functionally with different departments and brands to implement the new concept. This includes overseeing the initiative, adjusting as needed, and working to create cross-functional alignment to help ensure successful execution. The Strategy Implementation Manager will also work closely with the Omnichannel Deployment Lead to ensure analytics and presentations are assembled in the most impactful way.

Peapod Digital Labs will accelerate growth in digital and personalization capabilities for the great local brands of Ahold Delhaize USA and will serve as the innovation lab for the U.S. portfolio of companies, driving digital and eCommerce innovation, technology and experience to meet the changing needs of customers of Ahold Delhaize USA’s local brands, regardless of when, where and how consumers choose to shop. Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role  

• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to plan, launch and execute high-impact strategic projects that support ADUSA's omnichannel goals
• Work closely with the ADUSA brands and shared service functions to take omnichannel concepts and strategies through to execution
• Structure and drive execution of key omnichannel strategic initiatives by developing processes, work plans, gathering and analyzing relevant data, measuring results, and developing recommendations
• Creates presentations to help drive work forward and gain alignment on critical issues which often will require the art of storytelling within presentations
• Communicate findings, recommendations and status to senior management and to the broader organization throughout the duration of the project implementation
• Drive recommendations through to implementation and results.

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients 

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• 5-8 years of strategy development, process execution and/or big 3 consultant experience
• Existing eCommerce experience is a plus.
• Domestic travel required with minimal notice required up to 40% per year
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, executives and third parties
• Hands-on leadership style that can effectively work in groups to use critical thinking to problem solve (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)

• Strong financial acumen and ability to partner with Finance to create business cases and model scenarios as needed
• Uses business judgment and objective thinking to challenge status quo as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, executives and third parties
• Hands-on leadership style that can effectively work in groups to use critical thinking to problem solve (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
• Understanding of and experience with visual storytelling
