Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Manager to join our Site Merchandising Team, as part of the new Visual Merchandising group. This role would be based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have retail and/or e-commerce experience managing product discoverability and presentation. They will be a data-driven leader, who is comfortable working and influencing cross-functionally.

This leader will follow tenets and guiding principles for how Chewy creates pages and leverages content across the site to set the strategy for various campaigns and high traffic category pages. They will create a data- and consumer-driven process for building new pages. The business is growing quickly, so this leader will have a clear point of view, but be flexible enough to pivot quickly based on shifting landscape and business demands.


What You'll Do:

  • Create and standardize page templates using widgets in CMS
  • Audit pages throughout Chewy, understanding relative performance and placement within overall site architecture, making edits, removals and additions where needed to boost site performance
  • Support marketing initiatives such as Holiday / Cyber week: create effective promotional pages that leverage visual merchandising best practices and promotion-specific marketing creative
  • Build business cases to support product resourcing requests for high value website functionality
  • Utilize web analytics and data to guide ongoing improvements to click-through-rate and conversion


What You'll Need:

  • College degree in business-related field
  • 6+ years work experience, with 2+ years in eCommerce
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
  • Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
  • Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs
  • Position will require regular travel (1-2x per month)

 

Bonus:

  • MBA
  • Experience in e-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with SQL, CMS
