The Junior Creative Project Manager reports to the Creative Operations Manager, and is responsible for the day-to-day project management and traffic flow of offline/online projects within the Ninja Kitchenware category for the creative department. The Project Manager will bring projects to fruition via detailed follow through. This includes the maintenance of creative processes, handling the receipt of projects from Brand, Retail, and Product teams, reviewing and evaluating project scope, assigning resources, and using Workfront to communicate about all projects.

Essential Functions

  • Handle day-to-day Workfront user profile creation/management and project maintenance across multiple teams within Marketing.
  • Help implement team process improvements through the Workfront platform; from project templates to integrating company-wide platforms
  • Receive project requests via Workfront and make assignment recommendations packaging, emails, in-box collateral, web pages, and social content, ensuring all partners are informed and part of process.
  • Lead weekly and daily status update meetings with key Creative Team members, business partners, and maintain daily hot lists as needed.
  • Prepare and negotiate timelines, schedules, and resources with Brand, Product, Creative or other team members. 
  • Communicate priorities, needs, challenges and opportunities within creative. 
  • Provide updates to functional partners and teams as applicable (e.​g.​ Brand Management, Creative Services, etc.​).
  • Proactively set expectations, communicate project status, and assist internal clients.
  • Proactively reach out to business partners to forecast work and maintain production schedules. ​
  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively refine and establish processes to streamline creative work.

  • Customer oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work quickly and decisively, switching from Project Management tasks to critical thinking.
  • Ability to understand interdepartmental structure and dynamics; manage up, or sideways as needed; use diplomacy to balance competing project requests.
  • Flexible with superior prioritization skills within a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable in team or autonomous work situations.
  • Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to partner with clients to develop relevant, effective marketing communications strategies—scoping projects in support of business objectives. 
  • Friendly, calm, reliable, with a sense of humor and desire to produce great work for the business.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Project Management or closely related Traffic Management position in a creative environment.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality. ​
  • Thorough understanding of Creative Studio processes and asset libraries.
  • Proficiency in Workfront, Excel, Microsoft Word required; Adobe Creative Suite and Powerpoint a plus.
