Mendix is a low-code app development platform:

First, what is low-code? Low-code is a visual approach to software development that enables you to abstract and automate every step of the application lifecycle. Gartner predicts that “by 2024, low-code application development will be responsible for more than 65% of application development activity.” Mendix is repeatedly ranked a Leader in analyst reports from Gartner and Forrester. In the 2021 Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Multiexperience Development Platforms, Mendix placed at the very top of the Leaders quadrant.
Mendix, the global leader in enterprise low-code, was created to promote collaboration between Business & IT teams. Thousands of forward-thinking companies around the world like Ford Auto, Rabobank Netherlands, Zurich Insurance, and Red Bull, can unleash their best ideas faster with the help of the Mendix Platform.
Mendix is a Siemens Business:
Siemens is a Top 10 Global Software Company and a leader on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies in the World! With the acquisition of Mendix in 2018, Siemens Digital Industries Software is driving transformation to enhance the digital enterprise where engineering, manufacturing and electronics meet the future of innovation. Mendix employees have the opportunity to work in a hyper-growth environment with the support of Siemens’ unbeatable market position and resources.

You are part of a great new Team
The Mendix Manufacturing Industries Cloud team is a newly founded organization in the Mendix segment. It was formed to support the new verticalized G2M model in FY22 and beyond. It is the mission of this team to grow the business of the best in class low code platform in the Manufacturing Industries. For this mission we leverage all sales (direct selling, partner selling, digital selling) and marketing (field, product, industry) channels. Furthermore, we shape strategic partnerships with Siemens segments and business units to also increase the amount of products built on Mendix that Siemens brings to the market.

The Industry Managers in this team are subject matter experts for one manufacturing industry. In this they identify use cases where their industry needs low code, then they create narratives and presentation materials on how to address this use case as well as organize a template or a demo for this to be built by our developers. When that is done the industry managers enable the field sales organization on these use cases and support customer engagements directly with presentations and portfolio workshops.

Additional Perks + Benefits

At Mendix, we have the perks of a progressive tech company PLUS the benefits of an established leader with Siemens.

An Insider's view of Mendix

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

My career has grown tremendously since joining Mendix in early 2020 as an SDR. Over the course of a year, I moved my way up to a Senior SDR position and was soon promoted to Team Lead. I now have more responsibility helping the team hit their goals and improve their Sales skills. I'm really enjoying the leadership aspect of this expanded role.

Jocelyn Blais

Sales Development Manager

How does your team reward individual success?

My manager saw my potential and encouraged me not to settle for a role where I've mastered the tasks. He helped push me outside of my comfort zone and because of that I have grown from a receptionist, to Talent Coordinator, on my way to becoming a Talent Partner in just a couple years at Mendix.

Carly Martin

Talent Coordinator
