We are searching for a Hardware Program Manager to drive the development of our next generation robot systems. The expectation is that you bring a blend of program and product experience and can dive deep with the engineering team.

On a “typical” day you could be meeting with suppliers showing off their newest sensors, kicking off an internal project to design our own motor controllers, meeting with the sales and solutions team to brainstorm ways to solve customer problems for a new proposal, and then update the entire company on the progress of the next generation robotics platform.

Key Activities:

  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical and firmware design activities for robotics programs
  • Manage robotic programs throughout the full product lifecycle from vision and strategy through to design, implementation, development and launch
  • Mitigate risk regarding economics. Develop a view on business model and commercialization
  • Work across departments to insure internal and external stakeholders are able to influence program goals and understand progress
  • Mitigate risk regarding product and tech. Work closely with engineering and product in order to turn breakthrough technologies into products that solve our customers’ needs
  • Influence company’s technical and business roadmap by balancing business needs with technical and schedule constraints
  • Develop and manage program strategy and early-stage roadmap, ensuring we are taking on the hardest engineering problems first

Position Requirements:

  • 5-8 years experience leading multiple large-scale projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data analytical skills and proven experience developing and using tools to analyze large data sets to drive decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
  • Organization and time management skills. Ability to cope with fluctuating workloads and high stress situations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy along with ability to prioritize conflicting requirements
  • BS in a technical discipline. Project Management certification and/or an MBA is a plus
  • Understanding of warehouse fulfillment operations and logistics is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to concisely summarize key findings
