Clinical Project Manager
Department Overview
The Clinical Programs team at Wellframe works closely with all other Wellframe departments to create clinical tools, programs, and processes that help patients gain access to the knowledge and clinical expertise they need to manage their health needs at any given moment. Our team is made up of clinicians and health communications and public health experts who enjoy working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to solve tough health problems.
Position Overview
This position focuses on managing and supporting the development cycle of Wellframe clinical programs, which are delivered to patients on mobile devices. These programs address a wide variety of patient needs from chronic disease management to weight loss to stress reduction. The Clinical Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and configuration of Wellframe clinical programs, and for managing complex projects that result in the on-time and in-scope delivery of clinical programs to the client services team for implementation.
Requirements
The Clinical Project Manager will support clinical program development and configuration during the program development cycle, and will also coordinate the management of program development projects. Key functions of the role include:
-Develop and manage detailed project plans that integrate client priorities into established protocols for the development of Wellframe clinical programs; supervise the successful execution of project plans once developed
-Content development in accordance with Wellframe health literacy and style parameters
-Program configuration and quality testing in Wellframe’s content management and internal admin systems
-Coordinate meticulous and comprehensive documentation of the development and testing of all clinical programs components
-Work with the Clinical Programs team to refine and improve the content development, program configuration and testing processes in order to prevent duplicative and inefficient workflows
-Assist with the development and updating of internal handbooks used to guide our configuration and quality testing processes
Ideal candidate
-Project manager with unparalleled attention to detail
-Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience in a professional setting
-Willingness and desire to become an expert in our content management and internal admin systems, as well as in the Wellframe platform
-Ability to learn and understand new software systems quickly
-Familiarity with basic concepts of programming (variables, logic statements, etc.) is a plus
-Familiarity with project management software (we use Wrike) is a plus
-Prior experience with developing patient education materials and/or health technology products, with a strong focus on health literacy
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-A self-starter who can manage his or her own daily workload, operate well under pressure, and balance competing priorities.
-“No task is too small” attitude, with an eagerness to learn new skills
-Must be Boston-based or willing to relocate to Boston
