Clinical Delivery and Education Lead at Cricket Health

This is a hands-on, clinical leadership role. The applicant must have outstanding
clinical credentials, experience building clinical protocols and education programs, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable and excited to develop company-wide strategies to ensure world class clinical education programs and roll-up their sleeves to drive protocol development. The successful candidate will have experience in early program development including original creation, overall clinical operations, and a strong interest in clinical practice design, and continuous improvement. We are looking for the clinical leader who wants to drive innovation in kidney care!

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Workflow and Protocol Development Responsibilities:
  • Drive the protocol development process across all clinical interventions and disciplines
  • Develop protocols in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary clinical leadership team as assigned, to include the creation of cross-discipline protocols
  • Develop workflows, and other adjunct tools that support the completion of protocols 
  • Actively participate in clinical program development discussions, representing the clinical protocol development process
  • Partner with the Product team to translate the clinical protocols and workflows into product specifications related to the protocols
  • Clinical Education Responsibilities:
  • Develop a clinical education playbook that outlines the overall strategy and framework for a multi-modal clinical education program, and identifies the necessary elements of the program to include, but not limited to: 
  • On-boarding and on-going workflow and protocol training for clinical team members
  • Discipline specific competencies, skills assessments, and licensure/regulatory requirements
  • Job aides
  • Program tracking and outcome measurement methods
  • Participate in the ongoing prioritization of the education program elements for development and/or procurement
  • Develop best-in-class educational materials, and/or lead efforts to procure materials
  • Partner with the Product team to develop training related to new product features and releases
  • Lead clinical on-boarding and on-going education and training sessions
  • Participate in the creation of patient education content and materials

Required Qualifications:

  • Passionate about developing innovative clinical programs, improving patient outcomes, building a culture of safety and world-class care, that advances the Cricket Health mission
  • Motivated to empower clinical professionals through world class learning and development
  • Demonstrated ability to develop complex, very detailed plans, protocols, and materials 
  • The ability to critically assess and prioritize competing priorities, objectives, and deliverables 
  • Proven track record of outstanding communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary and cross functional teams at all levels
  • Experience and excitement about using technology to deliver care
  • Experience in quality improvement and general clinical operations 
  • Strong ability to use data for process improvement combined with, strategic thinking and a strong aptitude for problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive amidst ambiguity, adapt based on changing priorities, and leverage scarce resources to accomplish goals
  • Be willing to pursue appropriate licensing credentials in any of the 50 states, as needed

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • BSN, MSW, RD, or Pharm D
  • 5+ years experience in adult medical/surgical, critical care, chronic disease management, or nephrology clinical practice 
  • 2+ years experience in a formal clinical educator role
  • Demonstrated experience developing and writing clinical protocols

Ideal Education and Experience

  • MSN, MSW, Masters prepared RD, or Pharm D
  • 10+ years experience in nephrology, chronic disease management, adult medical/surgical, or critical care, clinical practice 
  • 5+ years experience in a formal clinical educator role
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse or other renal care certification 
  • Experience with home dialysis therapies, including peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis

Cricket Health Benefits Overview

We offer medical, dental and vision benefits under the Company’s benefit plans, subject to the terms and conditions of the individual plans. Details about the health and dental benefits will be provided separately and specific plans available depends on employee home state. Cricket covers 90% for employees and 65% for dependents. Health, dental, and vision benefits are managed through TriNet. There is no waiting period: once the employee I9 has been completed, they will be able to elect their benefits.

The company will offer 18 days PTO annually in addition to company holidays. This includes vacation, sick and personal time off but excludes Cricket holidays, disability, family leave, etc.

Employees will also be eligible for the Cricket Health 401K Plan after 3 months of employment, subject to the terms and conditions of the plan. There is an effective 50% company match of annual salary up to $2,500.
