Associate Project Manager

Our delivery management team houses project managers, product managers and business analysts who work closely with our clients to deliver solutions that enable our clients to succeed. The Delivery Management & Enablement team is the hub that supports all our services.


About you:


You’re a generalist by nature and might have one or more areas of interest in the project management field or beyond. You might have held the title of Digital Project Manager or Producer and are ready to take the next step in your career. You have consulting experience or have worked at a product company. You are a team player and a natural leader who thrives on putting your teams in the best position to execute. You have good knowledge in right-sizing a project plan, managing risks effectively and motivating your teams. You’ve had several successful project deliveries and are seeking to lead a project in a new area or of greater complexity to those of the past.


You have excellent communication skills and understand the concept of stakeholder management. You are passionate about process and thrive on working at a high velocity. You are business-minded and care about your clients and their customers.


You have a sound understanding of agile methodologies and are curious to learn about other project delivery methodologies. You are familiar with a Gantt chart and also understand that sometimes clients need other communication methods to know what’s going on. You have experience with mobile projects and may have delivered an IoT or connected product project.


Responsibilities


  • Develop plans for and actively help to manage the execution of digital product development projects
  • Manage resource allocation and utilization for project elements
  • Identify and mitigate program/project risks early
  • Build a reputation and serve as internal escalation point person on projects/programs
  • Track program interdependencies, milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and successful project implementation/deployment
  • Prepare & maintain project plans; understanding of creative and technical development tasks and dependencies
  • Control and monitor project financials and put corrective actions in place to realign, if necessary
  • Assist in the preparation of Statements of Work


Must Haves


  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in project management
  • Experience with digital product design and development projects
  • Consulting experience - this could be internal or external
  • Understanding of design techniques and frameworks as well as technical development/deployment processes
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and how you have managed projects throughout or in a particular phase
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to influence others in these areas
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, especially in situations involving consensus and team building with strong problem-solving skills
  • Requisite level of computer skills to execute the job function effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree required


Nice-to-Haves


  • Prior agency experience is a plus
  • Having worked as a product owner or business analyst is a plus
  • PMP certification
  • CSM certification


Compensation


  • Competitive base salary,
  • Eligible for a target bonus of up to 20% of base salary
