Job Summary
The App Development Project Manager will work with the many app development projects across our Agency team to manage development timelines and resourcing. You’ll be charged with balancing the needs of clients across our portfolio and supporting Account Management to deliver the development work needed to launch and support our clients.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Management team by coordinating development schedules needed for client launches and updates to meet both internal and external deadlines.
- Based on feedback from Agency leadership, Account Managers, development team and product team, help to balance the development projects, maintain updated project priorities, and allocate design, development and QA resources across projects.
- Provide status updates to Account Managers and Agency leadership on development schedules and project progress.
- Facilitate and improve the Agency development team's agile development process and sprint planning, including making sure planned development is ready to start before the sprint, planning out future sprints, and coordinating development dependencies.
- Identify and help resolve blockers that can delay project timelines.
- Support the sales process, both to new and existing clients, to provide reasonable timeline expectations.
- Work with Vendor teams to coordinate resource planning and communicate progress and delays.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of development project workflows and process including agile development methodologies
- Proven ability to work across many departments to solve problems and achieve results
- Ability to drive multiple projects effectively
- Ability to strategically evaluate business contexts and priorities to exercise sound judgments in driving projects
- Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management skills
- Experience using the LevelUp App or an Agency app (ex. sweetgreen, Boloco etc.)
- Comfortable working in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira and Smartsheet
