Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring an Agile Program Manager for our data products team in Boston, MA. You will be a key driver behind the agile initiatives of the team.This entails not only being a member of the product management team, but also innovating the process and development strategies to support Chewy’s explosive growth (both in customers, sales, and team expansion). This is not the standard program management role, as this role is building the data products development support structure from the ground up which means getting in the trenches and participating in activities across the board.

What you'll do:

• Lead multiple data product teams in the deployment and refinement of Agile methodology.
• Set vision and roadmap for Agile transformation and establish appropriate measures of success.
• Support and educate the Data Product Managers with grooming and backlog management.
• Coach the team to higher levels of agile maturity.
• Align all levels of management to the goals of the Agile principles and scrum values
• Ensure timely delivery of data products that achieve measurable business results.
• Manage integrated projects and programs to achieve expected business results
• Transform the agile software engineering organization to SAFe

What you'll need:

• Strong Agile Delivery experience preferably within a scaled agile environment 
• Experience in managing complex product solutions across multiple teams
• Must have been part of multiple full product lifecycles in a client facing role.
• Experience managing multiple products simultaneously.
• In depth knowledge and mastery of base methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Story boarding and workshop facilitation skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Scrum certifications i.e. CSM or CSP.
• Position may require travel

Bonus:

• Experience in big data technologies a plus.
• Analytics product development experience.
• Familiarity with data warehouse development environments and tools.
• Ecommerce experience a big plus.
