- Work assigned requests and projects to include design, development and testing of MS Access/VBA, IBM Cognos reports and SQL Server based tools.
- Support daily interface operations to and from external applications to Costpoint ERP system.
- Provide Costpoint user support, document issues, troubleshooting and general support for the software.
- Perform updates of documentation related to development efforts and support implementation in production.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education - bachelor's degree in information systems or related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in software development using Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures.
- 5+ years' Experience in programming with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), MS Access and Office applications.
- 2+ years' experience using IBM Cognos.
- 2+ Years experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and implementing security best practices to safeguard sensitive data.
Preferred:
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn current processes and support future development.
- Possesses strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be able to work under pressure to handle critical issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to work as a team member or as individual contributor.
- Experience with Teradata relational database management system SQL is a plus.
