As a Vice President of Insurance Product, you will:
- Create and lead a compelling US Insurance Product vision that enables Simply Business to build the products our customers need
- As a member of the US Management Team, leverage your functional, strategic and leadership expertise to contribute in crafting the strategic direction of the US business
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure we are delivering insurance products that serves our customer and business needs
- Coach, develop and inspire a team of Insurance Product and Product Development experts to do great things for our customers
- Live and breathe the performance of our insurance products - developing a performance culture within your team and working with them to identify and deliver on business opportunities
What we are looking for:
- Significant and progressive insurance product expertise -- digital or broker experience a plus
- Experience building, leading and coaching teams ensuring high employee engagement and team performance
- Significant experience collaborating with Digital Product and Technology functions
- Passion for the customer and leveraging that passion to build insurance products that meets their needs
- Ability to leverage your extensive and proven experience building and scaling organizations in addition to your growth mindset to position SB for success
- Someone who is energized and has the ability to create a compelling insurance product vision
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive with ambiguity
- Ability to bring new solutions to old problems- pressure test convention as the world and industry evolves around us
- Amazing ability to earn trust and build relationships with any member of the business

What's going on with work from home and return to the office?
More and more, people are talking about going back to the workplace and the new normal. At Simply Business, we’re thinking of it as a Better Normal. That means offering our SBers more choice and greater flexibility to work in a way that’s best for their particular job, their teams, and their lives.
We’re shifting to a hybrid working model, so we’ll have employees working virtually and in the office at any given time.
We’re also aware there are times when working together in person is the best way to get things done. We expect our SBers to connect in their hubs (that’s what we call our offices) most likely once every few weeks. That said, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution, so we expect all SBers and their teams will find the operating rhythm that works best for them.
