Role Description:

We are seeking experienced Technical Product Managers to join our growing Security PM team! The technical product manager will be responsible for prioritizing and maintaining a backlog for security research teams, which are composed of security researchers, data scientists, data engineers, and QA engineers.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical, cyber security, and business skills to identify, prioritize, and execute on the creation of security content applicable to large enterprise threat detection and response. The technical product manager must balance delivering security content across many different technologies, threats, use cases, and detection types. Detection types include rule/query based, anomaly-based signal detections, classifier based detections, and intelligent fusion detections. The technical product manager must have the ability to learn quickly and adjust product plans based on current business needs or emerging threats, while maintaining long roadmap objectives.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company and our customers. You will work with security research team to define security content release requirements, you will work with customers & customer success & support to understand customer feedback and issues, you will work with Cloud Operations to gather metrics on usage, performance, and accuracy, and you will work with sales & marketing teams to define go-to-market strategy & demo creation for upcoming content.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate cross functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, product management, and customers to evaluate threat detection and response content gaps and areas of opportunity
  • Have to track multiple competitors simultaneously and speak towards their strengths and weaknesses
  • Be responsible to define, document and prioritize security content requirements based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Determine security content metrics for success and customer engagement metrics and drive continuous results
  • Execute strong customer advocacy skills and experience and work in difficult customer situations
  • Participate in sales enablement and help sales close deals by providing technical differentiators
  • Participate in agile ceremonies with multiple teams including daily standups, weekly business reviews, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.
  • Demo and articulate Devo’s ability to help customers resolve CISO or SOC level use cases to current and prospective customers

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a product management or customer facing cyber security role
  • Working knowledge of Cyber Security and the Cyber Security Market
  • Familiarity with concepts such as Sigma, Mitre ATT&CK, YARA, STIX/TAXII, etc.
  • Eagerness to learn and build new technologies
  • Self-starter with excellent project organization skills, ability to drive complex projects with attention to detail, and hit deadlines
  • Demonstrable knowledge of scrum and agile development
  • Can articulate and execute Customer Discovery Techniques
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual environment, providing and accepting continuous feedback & support
  • Experience working in multicultural environments
  • Position will require up to 25% travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency or ability to speak Spanish
  • Familiarity with the basic concepts Machine Learning and Behavior Analytics
  • BS/BA in a computer-related field or equivalent
