As a Technical Product Manager, you will work with engineering teams who are creating a platform to enable Toast R&D to deliver value to customers in a “Fast, Frequent, and Fearless” manner. You will drive the roadmap and adoption of engineering fundamentals throughout the R&D organization, in order to remove friction, accelerate time to value, and achieve operational excellence with world class quality.
About this roll*:
- Drive the evolution of Toast’s software development life cycle tooling and processes and evangelize your solutions across the R&D organization
- Actively manage your teams’ backlogs through the creation, prioritization, and grooming of technical user stories in a fast paced agile environment
- Monitor your teams’ process and system health metrics to ensure optimal quality and velocity
- Work with the Technical Documentation and R&D Enablement teams to accurately communicate product updates to internal teams
- Analyze and track key performance indicators of existing and new features to evaluate usefulness to the stakeholders
Do you have the right ingredients*?
- Prior experience working within software development life cycle stages from ideation through customer delivery
- Previous experience as a technical product manager or developer
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and building interpersonal relationships with a range of personalities
- Familiarity with build and release technologies, test automation platforms, and tooling options focused on R&D productivity
- 2+ years as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or Associate Product Manager in a fast-paced software or technical environment
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and problem solve using creativity and strong analytical skills
