Chewy is looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager to join our Inventory Management Software Team based in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate...

What You'll Do:

Own the implementation, enhancement and support of Chewy's Inventory Management Software Systems
Collaborate with business on all critical initiatives, define roadmaps, discuss priorities and for agreed priorities define requirements, use cases and acceptance criteria
Analyze data comprehensively jointly with business to support business asks and applicable benefits
Coordinate with business stakeholders and continuously make sure your team is delivering according to the constantly growing needs of the business
Ensure backlog is groomed and epics / user stories are sufficiently detailed for development
Set priorities for the development team
Work with engineering team to resolve bottlenecks to help deliver final system deliverables
Coordinate activities with cross functional teams for initiatives that are cross functional in nature
Review and report on progress for initiatives/projects, managing project risks - including the development of contingency plans
Own the final system deliverables and the overall roadmap for your area of responsibility
Measure, report and continuously improve scrum team's effectiveness via mentoring and coaching

What You'll Need:

5+ years of Technical or Product experience
Technical savvy, including hands-on knowledge/skill of system integration, databases and business intelligence
Agile experience (Scrum Master, Product Owner)
Ability to perform business requirements analysis and design
Excellent communication and organization skills
Capability to identify and mitigate development and implementation risks
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Operations Management or Business Administration or equivalent experience
Position may require occasional travel

Bonus:

Experience with Fulfillment Planning / Warehouse Management / Order Management Systems
Exceptional team player skills, follows up with business team members, IT team members, and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems
Experience with CI/CD processes and releases management

Being an entry-level engineer doesn’t mean working on entry-level projects. Recently, Shinde, an engineer on the delivery experience team, created an API that connects customer’s queries with shipment statuses, a project that could have a significant impact on Chewy’s bottom line. Shinde credits an environment of continuous learning that has, to date, exposed her to more than a dozen new languages and tools.
