Job Summary

Position summary:

With the Healthcare Division, the Diagnostics Line of Business is a leading provider of solutions for Radiology. This Senior Product Manager will be a member of the Product Management team that defines the strategy and roadmap for the Diagnostic portfolio of solutions. This entails working closely with cross-functional teams to understand market needs and opportunities, manage product requirements, author user-stories, analyze pricing data and support new product introductions.

 

Principal duties and responsibilities:  *****Experience with IHE, DICOM, HL7 and APIs (MUST)****

  • Conduct market, customer and competitive research.
  • Define overall product growth strategy and product roadmap, supported by a business plan.
  • Lead customer advisory board meetings as well as internal steering committee meetings to inform and vet the product strategy and roadmap.  
  • Conduct build versus buy analysis
  • Negotiate with technology partners and maintain ongoing relationships. 
  • Define release goals, features, user stories and acceptance criteria and participate in scrum meetings, all within the Agile software development framework. 
  • Build and execute product launch plans in coordination with product marketing.  Help create product collateral and assist in product training. 
  • Actively assist in promoting and selling system to customers, partners, press and analysts. 
  • Monitor product success and take corrective action as needed.
  • Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing

Knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s in computer science, engineering, or other relevant degree, MBA desired

 

Minimum years of work experience: 5 in comparable role

 

Required skills:

  • *****Experience with IHE, DICOM, HL7 and APIs (MUST)****
  • Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians and IT leaders
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • High energy, self-starter, team player, delivers results.
  • Mastery of the English language with strong communication skills, both oral and written. 

 

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in Agile software development methodology 
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle management 
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions, cybersecurity, reliability, HITRUST. 
  • Clinical and operational experienced in a hospital environment 
  • Sound understanding and implementation of Pragmatic Marketing concepts
