CA Veracode is expanding its presence in the US Federal Market and is seeking a market facing Senior Product Manager to manage our offers in the federal sector. The Product Manager is responsible for identifying and continuously validating addressable market opportunities aligned to CA Veracode's strategy, understanding and communicating the voice of the target customer, and combining these to achieve market success through delivering new or improved product or solution offerings.

 

This role is a fully qualified Product Manager who can work independently interfacing with internal and external customers at every level.

 

The Sr. Product Manager will own the market requirements and technology strategy for extending all of CA Veracode's offerings into the US Federal market, and will work closely with sales and with other product managers and product owners across several release trains. The Sr. Product Manager will also work closely with federal sales teams across CA Veracode and CA. 

Key Responsibilities:

The Sr. Product Manager will typically lead a small Release Train in the following activities:

Product Management:

 

  • Work as part of the extended Product Team, including other Product Managers, Product Owners, UX, and Architects in facilitating the processes, practices and principles necessary to delivering outstanding business value and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Work in close partnership with multiple Product Owners to optimize feature delivery to the customer in a series of releases that balance CA Technologies technical and economic objectives for the product line.
  • Support continuous market research and assessment activities to ensure the team is aligned to the market opportunities, and able to react quickly to changing market dynamics.
  • Build customer insights into all stages of the planning and execution process, ensuring the continuous validation of features and stories with Customers.
  • Act as a model for the principles behind the Agile Manifesto.
  • Own and develop a portion of the Product Business Case, including:
    • Develop the business case for Portfolio and Program Epics related to the Release Train.
  • Participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning, defining and managing the Program Backlog, defining and maintaining non-functional requirements, working with the Architecture team 

Go-to-Market Execution

 Develop, maintain and communicate the roadmap for internal stakeholders and external customers, prospects, and analysts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Lead forecasting and pipeline analysis activities to monitor product performance.

 

Work Experience:

 

  • Five or more years in product management, product ownership, or industry related role.
  • Experience working with US Federal Government.  (FedRAMP experience strongly desired.)

 

Location:

 

  • Ability to work in or relocate to Burlington, MA or Washington, DC preferred.

 

Desired Certifications:

 

  • Pragmatic Marketing Certified Level Two (PMC-II) or equivalent is desirable.
