What if nature could be harnessed to help farmers sustainably feed the planet? Since 2014, Indigo has questioned agriculture's full value chain to improve grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health.

In 2019, Indigo was ranked #1 on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list. Headquartered in Boston, MA, Indigo has additional offices in Memphis, TN; Research Triangle Park, NC; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Basel, Switzerland; and São Paulo, Brazil.

As a Software Product Manager on the Indigo Marketplace team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts and innovators across the organization to define a best-in-class user experience. If successful, Marketplace will enable farmers to sell their grain and reduce market risk in intuitive and seamless ways, allow grain marketing advisors to expand their client base and profit, and help grain buyers to strengthen and showcase their competitive advantages.  We believe that a deep understanding of customer problems and behavior is critical to delivering value and is the cornerstone of what makes our product team tick.

In this role, you will lead the cross-functional Marketplace post-transaction experience team. Finding a great price and contracting grain are only the first steps, from there, we need to build features and functionality that make bookkeeping, document management, grain delivery and final payment possible, and this is where you come in.

You’ll work closely with our Fulfillment, Contract Management, and Finance teams to understand the workflows and processes required to get from transaction to settlement. You will partner with a dedicated designer and engineering team to develop software solutions that allow users to perform more post-transaction activities self-service, on their own schedule. You will become an expert in Indigo Marketplace users, and will help to ensure that their needs are being met, and their expectations are being exceeded.

What does a successful product look like at Indigo?
