Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities:
Work with the Director of Product Management and other senior Product Leaders to define the high-level problems on the Product Backlog that, when solved, will help achieve the strategic goals for your product area.
Build the trust, respect and confidence with the teams Product Owner(s) and extended technical team in terms of being able to articulate the ‘WHY’ behind the product backlog. Research, clearly articulate and manage product goals, intended outcomes, and success measurement techniques in through written and oral communication, particularly in the epics to be delivered.
Manage and/or collaborate with the team’s 1-2 Product Owner(s) Product Owner(s) on rollout and experimentation strategies, and how to appropriately break down the epics into user stories and acceptance criteria. Have a clear focus on always delivering business value and priorities. Provide feedback to the scrum team to ensure new capabilities are developed and implemented in a manner consistent with company vision.
Act as program management lead or a key contributor to drive several simultaneous cross-organizational initiatives to successful completion in terms of goals and timeframes. Communicate regularly with key stakeholders on status, scope or schedule changes and risks. Sample programs may include early adopter management, idea and experimentation management, data instrumentation and analysis.
Synthesize feedback and input from customers, partners, and in-house teams for feature requests. Assist in evaluating solution options, considering the business impact and trade-offs of each. Conduct analysis to define, measure and opportunities to influence the success of given features.
Present specific proposals, features or capabilities to internal stakeholder audiences or customers. Incorporate feedback and input from customers, partners, and in-house teams on product strategy
Qualifications:
7+ years working as a Product Manager/Owner in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.
Proven track-record of product innovation changing the dynamics of an existing or emerging market.
Experience managing 1-2 direct reports, with an emphasis on people-centered leadership.
SaaS delivery model experience is a must-have, in either B2B or B2C environments.
Excellent analytical thinking in terms of ability to break down problems into logical components and highly data-driven in terms of making product decisions.
Experience in product experimentation and testing.
Active participation in client management, sales and marketing opportunities including working with top clients on new product innovation.
Must have demonstrated experience in leading product initiatives that are large scale in terms of customer base, complexity of problems solved, scope of functionality offered, etc.
Must have a strong bias for action i.e. you are pro-active in figuring out what problems to tackle and then execute on solving them.
Adept at engaging with customers, prospects and partners to understand their needs and determine their goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to influence and persuade peers and leadership on your ideas and vision for the product.
Must be adept at working with a distributed team and know how to effectively build a cohesive team identity.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration a plus.
HR software experience a plus.
