TrueMotion has created the leading smartphone based solution to reduce distracted driving. Based on our success, we're innovating new ways to leverage the TrueMotion engine by developing applications that target the automotive space.

The role

We’re looking for an outstanding product manager / product management leader to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the vision, product strategy, and execution of key components of our customer experience. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on software development experience, can speak convincingly about technology to non-technical people, has demonstrated business / product leadership acumen, and also enjoys working with customers!

What you’ll do

  • You'll champion for your product area, developing and articulating the vision both to internally and externally.
  • You'll lead a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, sales and product marketers to help articulate, build and ship high-impact products to our customers.
  • Manage the long-term roadmap, communicating the product vision and priorities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop empathy for the needs of our customers while creating a compelling vision for how to address them.
  • Track the overall market and competitive dynamics.
  • Make important build, buy, or partnership recommendations for various aspects of the product solution.
  • Attend iteration demos and regular stand-ups.

Who you are

  • Have 3+ years of product management experience leading technical teams
  • Have at least 2 years of hands-on development experience, designing building (coding) products
  • Computer science, engineering or math degree
  • MBA preferred
  • Strong project management / program management skills
  • Strong understanding and appreciation for the agile process and methodology
  • Working experience as a PO, leading scrum team also preferred.
  • Experience and building scrum teams and implementing / refining process
  • Enjoy working with customers, good at speaking their language; helping non-tech people understand technology
  • Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision.
  • Scrappy, “impact-focused” attitude
  • Experience driving change through cross-functional leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
