About the Role: 

Do you enjoy building products from early discovery through delivery? As Senior Product Manager, Platform you will work across our products to improve the overall user experience of our platform, including accessibility, UX and UI design, and navigation. 

You will work cross-functionally with partners to develop a vision for a strong platform experience and a strategy to get us there. You will work with a team to innovate, test, and deliver valuable new features, build upon our accessibility expertise, and support and help shape the growth of our product team norms and practices as we scale. 

You will become an expert in K–12 education and the needs of our school, district, and state partners, identifying the most important problems to solve and delivering creative solutions to support students of all abilities and drive improved and more equitable outcomes. 

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop a vision for a five-star platform experience across our suite of products and a long-term strategy to support it. 
  • You will define problems and devise the roadmap for improving our overall platform experience, including but not limited to system login, accessibility, navigation, and the implementation of a design system.
  • You will identify and define opportunities for the systematization of platform-wide improvements such as how we design and implement a mobile experience and how we prioritize and achieve accessibility goals.
  • You will partner with other product leads to equip their teams with processes and tools to bake a great platform experience into their development process, so that we level up the quality of our product and platform.
  • You will gain a deep understanding of the day-to-day lives of K–12 educators and the challenges that they face when using our platform, and look for ways to improve student outcomes. 
  • You will lead by example and drive  meaningful client and business outcomes by setting and achieving goals with your team 
  • You will communicate your team's roadmap and strategic plans, creating excitement and alignment within your team, and across Panorama

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 4+ years of product management including experience working on product user experiences and collaborating with product designers
  • Led strategy or played a strong supporting role in developing a strategy for a product or a part of a product
  • Implemented new systems or practices across different product teams, and effectively aligned stakeholders to goals and process 
  • Interest in solving big problems and helping educators improve student outcomes in innovative way
  • Exceptional communication across all levels of an organization, stakeholder alignment, and driving business objectives 
  • A people-first mentality to help others succeed
  • Bonus points: Experience with accessibility requirements, WCAG, and implementing accessible designs and product solutions 
  • Bonus points: Experience with manual testing techniques including keyboard only testing and screen reader testing
  • Bonus points: Familiarity with legal requirements including 508 and the ADA
  • Bonus Points: Experience working in Education, EdTech, B2B SaaS products, and leading cross-functional teams

Panorama excitedly hosts two in-person "all team meetings" a year. All Panoramians attend and travel/hotels are provided. (Paused due to Covid)
