What we do in Product: 

In this role, you will execute product features to deliver strategy. You’ll prioritize and coordinate work to deliver a roadmap while managing stakeholders inside and outside the business. You will translate business needs into product plans that incorporate appropriate research and stakeholder input. To be a successful candidate, you will be passionate about data, able to turn vision into action, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your communication skills allow you to excel at collaborating in a global, distributed team environment. The Senior Product Manager role reports to the Head of Product, Cruise.

What you’ll do:

  • Influence the long-term product strategy and associated roadmap 

  • Identify and form creative solutions for unmet opportunities that increase site performance and user success

  • Build and/or assist with business cases and analytical support/insight for new initiatives; this requires identifying and understanding key issues, quantitatively analyzing these issues, and communicating key insights and results

  • Translate global business and consumer needs into requirements and work with Engineering including machine learning to deliver solutions that improve our tools, systems, infrastructure and user experience

  • Develop scalable processes in a high volume environment

  • Measure success for new projects and track them on a regular basis to ensure that all projects and existing functionality are moving toward our defined goals

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business unit Product and design teams, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Content, Finance and other stakeholders across Cruise Critic

  • Monitor the competitive landscape to understand how our product offering stacks up against our direct competitors

What are we looking for? 

  • 5+ years of product management experience

  • Familiarity working with external vendors and partner relationships

  • Consistent track record of executing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring multiple projects are completed in an appropriate and timely manner

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective action plans to resolve issues

  • Strong quantitative analysis skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving

  • Excellent communication to effectively and efficiently articulate both roadmap vision and specific details to various stakeholders, from senior leadership to individual contributors.

  • Ability to write and or guide clear and concise product requirements, status updates and product results.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential
