The Team

The Digital Experience team, part of MassMutual's Enterprise Technology & Experience organization, designs, builds, and supports the company's digital assets for customers and financial professionals. Digital Experience is composed of collaborative, diverse, cross-functional teams who like to have fun. We challenge each other and are energized to create innovative solutions that exceed the changing needs of our users. To help us achieve our mission, we are hiring team-oriented Product Designers at all levels to help us take our customer and financial professional experiences to the next level.
The Role and Your Impact
As a Product Designer at MassMutual, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop design solutions for different digital products, while partnering closely with digital product, technology and testing;
Use data and user research to fuel your design;
Play a critical role in innovation and concept development;
Shepherd the design aspect of MVP and continuous improvements; and
Work on the entire ecosystem of MassMutual's digital products, from web to mobile and from consumer, to B2B and financial professional experiences.
The Qualifications
An ideal candidate for this role will have:
2+ year(s) of product design experience;
A user-focused design mentality - constantly honing design instincts through user feedback;
Experience with a variety of design problems (e.g. workflow, ecommerce, account experiences, etc.);
The ability to switch between sketching concepts, updating flows, and fine-tuning design details;
Experience in the creation of detailed wireframes and user flows;
An understanding of the form factors for different platforms;
Experience contributing to design systems as the foundation of consistent, cross-platform design;
A passion for partnering with other teams across MassMutual to design high-impact customer experiences;
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future; and
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
