Nuance is currently looking to hire a Senior Director Product Management-Enterprise Medical Imaging that will eventually work out of our Burlington, MA offices once we return to working from our facilities later in 2021. This thought leader will report directly to the GM of our Imaging/Diagnostics line of business and will define, build, educate and own the product portfolio and platform strategy. Specifically, they will drive the product roadmap for PowerScribe, our flagship global Radiology solution.
The Director will lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, and work with our Research and Development teams to appropriately design and build solutions on time and on budget to meet the needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:

  • Play primary role in defining and driving the overall vertical solution vision and long-term business strategy for the Diagnostics business. Understand the market and users, and design and maintain the market model. Identify new or expanding markets and solution opportunities across family of products and define business case with finance and strategy team.
  • Lead all aspects of the Go to Market/New Product Introduction process.
  • Develop and own the multiyear and annual product business plan for PowerScribe and the solution roadmap for Nuance's Diagnostic Line of Business.
  • Accountable to effectively manage the product business to drive ROI. Drive continuous win/loss analysis and create Product Plans, Pricing and Profitability models.
  • Manage product risk and compliance, working with cross functional experts and teams including regulatory, commercial, operational and financial risks
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Sales, Commercial Operations and Customer Success/Enablement to set go-to-market priorities, product adoption goals and track revenue growth and important focused initiatives.
  • Synthesize market feedback to identify revenue growth opportunities and competitive threats. Define client challenges and expectations, size opportunities and prioritize initiatives for the product that are differentiated, scalable and repeatable.
  • Motivate cross functional team members to achieve the vision and goals.
  • Work with Marketing to drive vertical customization of product positioning, case studies and marketing collateral that clearly articulates PowerScribe's unique market differentiations.
  • Lead and empower team to drive a culture of development and growth in Product Management capabilities and opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering, medical technology or related field
  • 12+ years of Product Management experience.
  • MBA preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating business and financial acumen.


Required Experience:

  • Strong diagnostic, radiology or enterprise imaging product strategy background.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Healthcare Sector. Understanding of Global trends and impacts in Healthcare.
  • Strategic thinker, skilled communicator, and seasoned influencer with demonstrated ability to drive solutions in a cross functional, matrixed environment,
  • Ability to create, understand, and justify financial business cases: TAM, SAM, SOM and other market-based metrics.
  • Experience in creating and managing financial performance metrics: bookings, revenues, margin and costs across a portfolio.
  • Experience defining, deploying and improving product management processes
  • Experience developing robust, customer-centric product and service requirements using Agile methodology, Confluence, JIRA or similar tools and processes.
