Our product is at the foundation of everything we do at HubSpot. In the role of Product Trainer, you play a critical role in helping all of our new employees get up-to-speed with our Growth Stack platform and Inbound Methodologies.

In this role you will lead curation and the facilitation of the core Product Training program and will partner with the Instructional Design Team on the creation of new content.. This training will cover subject matter around marketing and sales strategies, HubSpot’s software suites, and best practices in leveraging the HubSpot software to help customers growth their business. HubSpot’s Product Trainers enable new HubSpotter’s to deliver long term value to our global customers and the communities they serve.

In this role you will:

  • Deliver engaging, high-impact training to our new HubSpotters. Your goal is to set a solid foundation for them to be able to provide immediate value to our customers and prospects
  • Work cross-functionally within the organization to determine the content facilitated within the program. In this role, you’ll work across several teams at Hubspot, proactively determining their needs and challenges and synthesizing the collection of this feedback.
  • Ability to confidently make decisions and rally others around your vision and plan
  • Create a remarkable classroom experience during our twice-a-month new hire training
  • Assist with evaluating the effectiveness of the new hire training program and iterate as needed.
  • Collaborate within the Learning & Development Team to ensure consistency of training concepts across training programs
  • Innovate on traditional training methods, leveraging objective-based tests, online quizzes, gamification, e-learning, etc. to drive knowledge retention and application

A strong candidate will have:

  • Skilled facilitator, public speaker, and storyteller with experience facilitating large group learning experiences
  • Proficiency with Powerpoint/ Keynote
  • Understand facilitation, public speaking and group-training best practices
  • A natural ability to explain complex software or technical concepts to groups of professionals with varying levels of experience
  • A desire to work autonomously and are motivated by delivering a great experience
  • A passion to help others embrace technology
  • Formal or informal visual design is a plus
  • Strong written and oral communications skills

Required Education

  • BA or BS degree (An MBA is a plus)
