Description
The Product Owner, Data Protection Management drives discussion and captures requirements for security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. The Product Owner, Data Protection Management works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Product Owner, Data Protection Management guides discussion with architects, business, and technical stakeholders on embedding techniques like tagging, data anonymization while building or enhancing data solutions to ensure proper level of access and data classifications. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
The Product Owner, Data Protection Management is responsible for communicating with stakeholders across the board, including customers, business, IT and the development teams to ensure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives. The Product Owner will maintain a high level perspective that ensures the team maintains a cohesive vision and prioritizes program work effectively. The product owner will support product roadmap and strategic decisions required to ensure a plan for execution and implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- 8 or more years experience with in-depth knowledge in Information Technology
- 3 or more years experience in Data Protection
- 2 or more years experience in leadership experience in Data Protection
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in a Technical Field
- Security Certifications
