The Product Operations Manager is responsible for overall program and project management, governance, and the successful delivery of the Product Organization's output in alignment with the defined SDLC. The successful candidate is an expert at both strategic-level program management and tactical level agile processes, including hands-on SCRUM-Mastering. He or she is adept at collaborating with individual contributors and business leaders to define business process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the CPO/COO. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) across the Product organization, which includes both strategic and tactical components, defined processes, cyclical timelines, role definitions, key deliverables, performance metrics, staffing model
  • Maintain and publish the quarterly Product Org scorecard to track progress against strategic, org-wide KPIs
  • Oversee the maintenance and publishing of sprint-level scorecards to measure progress against sprint-level KPIs
  • Diagnose root cause of problems via formal Root Cause Analysis methodologies
  • Function as the hands-on SCRUM Master for project teams
  • Run the biweekly Scrum-of-Scrums to report progress to Product Leadership 
  • Oversee the quarterly project resourcing process, and ensure adherence to defined staffing models
  • Maintain key business templates in conjunction with cross-functional managers and leads
  • Own governance for project codes, timecard submission and approvals, and allocation vs actuals
  • Onboard new Product employees to processes and standards
  • Contribute to annual compliance and process audits

Postion Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in program and project management 
  • 3-5 years experience as Scrum Master
  • 10+ years relevant business experience
  • Expert level Excel skills 
  • Experience defining and owning an SDLC
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • In-depth knowledge of project & program management methodologies, tools, & techniques
  • Expert knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Ability to manage resources through influence as opposed to authority
  • Solid leadership, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong conviction in the role of program management and willingness to take on challenges 
  • Strong and demonstrable project management skills, including communications and tracking skills, planning, and organization
  • Solid understanding of corporate environment and business metrics, with ability to propose solutions for their achievement
