CarGurus Labs focuses on transformative opportunities in the automotive space. These projects tend to have longer time horizons due to their challenging and exploratory nature. The Product Operations Manager will set up, manage, and optimize processes with multiple external partners to help bring our products to life. Reporting into the VP of Labs Operations, you will work closely with the Engineering, Product Management, and Business Development teams to help launch and optimize new products. A successful candidate will have a strong operational background, a passion for delivering an outstanding user experience, and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with key cross-functional stakeholders to manage end-to-end operations and logistics for new products and features
- Manage third-party partners to ensure continuous optimization of processes and improvement of the user journey
- Gather customer insight (both consumer and dealer) and leverage those insights to identify product/process improvements. Spend time on the ground with partners and customers to figure out what’s working and what’s not. Bring a product-centric view to your work.
- Establish and track KPI’s to drive business results
- Identify ways to overcome challenges and constraints to keep projects on schedule and exceed customer expectations.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree required with an excellent academic record
- 7+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years of direct product operations experience
- A track record of driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to roll up your sleeves and get things done
- Experience managing complex projects while demonstrating exceptional business judgement. Ability to take abstract ideas and turn them into action.
- Data-oriented thinker with excellent strategic and analytical capabilities
- Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong executive presence
- Some travel required (~30%)
