Job Overview:

The Product Manager, Platform Services is the point person to ensure capabilities on the platform can be integrated into a broad base of product consumers. The position will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with the business unit leadership team, product and engineering organizations to ensure alignment of core capabilities with product roadmaps and desired features from a core set of services. Services in scope of responsibility include our internal works and rights management system, payment and tax services, party relationship management, customer notification system, content services, pricing, e-commerce and others to be determined.

Primary Duties/Accountabilities:

Provides oversight and input to meet established function, quality, and objectives for large sized programs/projects with extensive complexity for multi-year initiatives.

Drives collaborative sessions with product management and engineering to determine platform feature set requirements and enhancements.

Serves as a product owner for core platform service capabilities. Responsible for driving feature roadmap based on input solicited from stakeholder community.

Works to ensure alignment with executive sponsor and stakeholders across the organization.

Provides input to the business and solicits input from the business on requested features and process improvements in context of platform capabilities currently offered and those requiring enhancements.

Documents required capability, features and requirements for platform roadmap items or directs others on project team to do so.

Coordinate with teams responsible for delivery of specific capabilities.

Coordinate with product managers and business leads to ensure the cohesiveness of the overall user experience and internal operations process when moving from development to operational release.

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: 

Education: Bachelors Degree

Direct Experience: 4-6 years

Management Experience: 0-2 years

Skills/Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

Experience working on and with agile teams; familiarity and experience with SAFe a plus

Prior experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst required

Ability to make data-driven decisions and operate from an analytical framework

Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, to achieve business objectives
