We are looking for a data scientist to lead the expansion of time-series capabilities in our disruptive predictive analytics platform. You will understand the needs of customers in industries like finance and manufacturing,. You will then collaborate to design solutions with our team of world-class data scientists, software engineers, and an executive team that is passionate about data science. You will gather product vision, ideas, and requirements from both external and internal sources, create and maintain a dynamic roadmap, and work with an enthusiastic development team to deliver our customers’ dream product.

The Technical Product Manager is expected to:

• Work directly with the executive team to define the product strategy and roadmap for time series applications
• Solicit and capture product ideas from both outside and inside the company
• Deliver product requirement documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
• Act as an effective liaison between engineering/data science and marketing/sales teams
• Maintain the product roadmap for time series capabilities and deliver to clients and sales teams as necessary
• Be an expert with respect to the competition
• Act as a thought leader within the company

Requirements

• Deep experience building predictive models for time series problems using both classical statistical techniques (e.g. ARIMA) and machine learning (e.g. xgboost)
• 4+ years programming experience in Python or R
• Excellent teamwork and written/verbal communication skills
• Technical background in software and/or data analysis
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Plus

• Experience with deep learning models for time series modeling
• Experience with applications to the Internet of Things (IoT) or Finance
• Experience operating on large, high-frequency datasets in frameworks like Spark.
• Experience as product manager for Big Data, Hadoop, Data Integration, and/or Predictive Modeling space
• Advanced degrees in a relevant field (such as statistics or computer science) or MBA
• Experience in agile product management using JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in a fast paced startup environment
