The Role


Veeva is looking for an all-star Product Manager to build, launch, and grow the next generation of Quality Management software for the Consumer Goods, Chemicals, and Cosmetics industries. 

 

We’re looking for a high-energy, passionate individual with experience in enterprise product management. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for advancing and supporting the adoption of our portfolio of Quality Control capabilities, as well as collaborating with other Product Managers and a team of industry and technology A-players in driving the overall QualityOne application suite roadmap and customer success.

What You'll Do

  • Be the product evangelist. Become the subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Be hands-on. Design, Prototype, Configure - validate solutions rapidly to ensure we solve the right problems, in the right order.
  • Be a storyteller. Conceptualize and design high-quality specifications and communicate specific, actionable requirements to your engineering teammates.
  • Be a leader. Look for opportunities to innovate, keep up with the latest manufacturing software, and industry trends distilling them into product requirements.
  • Be an owner. Cultivate the roadmap for your new product, set the product vision, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and end customers.
  • Take initiative and make decisions that set the direction of the product.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an agile enterprise application software company in product management, business analysis, implementation, or solution consulting roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline. 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, taking ownership, and making decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Comfortable collaborating with customers.
  • Ability to use JIRA or similar tools to create and manage epics, user stories, defects, and production issues.
  • Works well as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
  • Excited about developing new innovative cloud software solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with solutions built on platforms.
  • Experience with quality management system software (QMS) is a big plus.
  • Understanding and experience with one or more ISO systems (ISO 9001/45001/14001).
  • Experience with UX, usability testing, Sketch, Balsamiq, and other PM tools.
