We are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Management leader to lead our strategy for Forms in Smartsheet. Forms play a central and critical role in enabling customers to save time and work more efficiently. We have big plans in this space and are looking for someone to lead the charge. In this role you will also act as a site leader, responsible for building a culture of customer obsession and product excellence as we expand the engineering teams in Boston.
This is a critical role with significant business ownership. Your chief responsibility will be to define the vision for how customers can build and manage forms to streamline data entry and editing, perform customer surveys, project their brand and automate work processes. You will identify, prioritize, define, and deliver full-stack product enhancements to deliver a extensive forms package that enables the least technical user to easily create packaged form solutions on web and mobile. You will define how forms are designed, built and managed across the Smartsheet ecosystem. You will envision, design and deliver innovative new premium forms solutions to market to address unmet customer needs - designing these end to end.
You will take on a critical role in a collaborative environment, demonstrating every day your obsession with customer success and determination to deliver a great product. Your success will be measured on improvements to critical success metrics, revenue targets, user engagement and happiness, your ability to drive projects from concept through completion, and your skills working with customers, partners and colleagues.
This position is located in our growing Boston Development Center and will report to the Senior Director of Engineering. 

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand the needs of your customers and the marketplace to build great product market fit
  • Create a compelling vision for your portfolio of features, break down the work into a well-prioritized plan, and execute
  • Assess opportunity, project feasibility, approach, scope
  • Define detailed product requirements
  • Use A/B testing and customer validation to refine the design
  • Make trade-offs in market fit, usability, cost, and performance
  • Drive project through to completion, providing detailed progress metrics during build and thorough, insightful analysis of results post-launch
  • Create and obsess over key success indicators and adjusting to maximize results
  • Analyze market and competitive trends to inform new recommendations


Requirements

We are looking for great teammates who are driven, dedicated, passionate about the space, our business and the opportunity, and are effective problem solvers able to execute with little supervision. Preferably, you will have:

  • 8+ years experience as a product manager for a software product, B2B or B2C cloud experience strongly preferred
  • 8+ years experience as a product owner on agile development teams
  • Experience taking a product from conception to market which generated direct revenue
  • Strong User Experience focus with a history of delivering consumer grade experiences for challenging business problems
  • Experience working with UX and engineering teams; deep commitment to customers and team collaboration
  • Experience with SQL, Databricks, and Tableau, and Google Analytics preferred
  • "Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, startup attitude, plus passionate drive and extraordinary ability to communicate with customers, colleagues, and executives
  • Passion for web-based business software
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and discuss technical concepts
  • Experience with agile development processes and frequent product release cycles
