The kind of person we’re looking for:


We’re looking for an energetic, persuasive, take-charge person with product management experience. You’ll need strong communication skills (emphasis on listening and asking key questions) to collaborate with both internal and external teams. You’ll develop recommendations for product enhancements, pricing, and go-to-market strategies. You will act as the evangelist for the product offering helping both internal and external teams feel confident about its value and functionality.

The kind of stuff you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the strategic and technical development of POS integrations
  • Analyzing/managing technical partner relationships for integrations
  • Meeting with clients and prospects to understand requirements
  • Writing technical user stories, collaborating and communicating feature requests to engineering teams in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Collaborating with customer support to understand present and future customer needs, and translating them into a product roadmap
  • Providing direction, backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories for the POS engineering team
  • Articulating the business case for POS platform improvements, and measuring success
  • Wireframing product innovations
  • Delivering key product features/benefits and positioning to the marketing team for the development of in-market materials
  • Evaluating POS platform delivery costs and assisting Domain Product Managers with pricing
  • Training internal teams on product development changes
  • Tracking statistics of product adoption by customer base and translating feedback into enhancement recommendations
  • Developing the long term POS strategy that will help scale our platform for future needs
  • Communicating Paytronix’s POS platform vision to a wide variety of key stakeholders
  • Traveling up to 5% domestically

The kind of experience you’ll need:

  • 2+ years with hands-on experience creating road-maps, prioritizing product backlogs, producing detailed requirements and wire-framing UX concepts and workflows
  • Knowledgeable in marketing strategy, specifically competitive analysis and pricing models
  • Exceptional communication skills including the ability to deliver precise, detailed requirements to the engineering team
  • Deep understanding of hospitality or retail POS systems
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or engineering

The extra stuff that would be nice:

  • 4 years of related work experience
  • Restaurant or convenience store point of sale knowledge
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS & SQL
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Restaurant or convenience store marketing experience
  • Previous experience at a B2B SaaS company
