Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Product)
Job Description:
Workhuman is currently looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team. This role sits within the Product organization and will focus on building and managing communications campaigns to drive activation, education, and ongoing usage among our end users.
Reporting to the Senior Product Director, Human Engagement, you will partner closely with product strategists, product analysts, product designers and product researchers in your work on creating and managing campaign design, deployment, measurement, audience segmentation, content and campaign testing across multiple channels including email, SMS, mobile app and other channels. Your work will help make work more human for the millions of people who use our products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the details of the outcomes our products drive, how our products work, and who our users are.
- Partner with product strategists to build and refine user journeys and campaigns, including segmentation, targeting, rules, triggers, deliverability tracking, IP monitoring and A/B testing.
- Provide best practice guidance and support for product teams, identify problems, partner with tech team and technical support to resolve technical issues
- Work with tech team members to augment data in and out and support integrations
- Build reporting in CRM and analytics tools
- Design and document workflows for creating, maintaining, testing campaigns and user journeys and ad hoc communications for broader use by product teams
- Experience with and understanding of web and e-mail tracking technology
- Manage user databases, import, and segmentation logic
- Build and update HTML and text email templates including dynamic content
- Assist with QA and end-to-end testing of communications
- Support optimization of campaigns to drive key engagement and communication metrics: CTR, open rate, conversions, etc.
- Utilize campaign management tools and analytics programs to monitor campaign and user journey performance
- Help develop creative & landing page testing plans
- Adhere to best practices, regulations, and industry standards for email, SMS and other communications
- Identify opportunities for innovation and stay current on key industry trends
- Seek out opportunities to improve processes and efficacy of communications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years managing CRM, email, lifecycle or retention marketing campaigns
- Experience with enterprise scale CRM/ ESP platforms
- Technical acumen, particularly in an AWS environment, is helpful
- HTML/CSS expertise
- A/B or multi-variate testing experience
- Strategic problem solving & analytical skills
- Strong data management skills, preferably SQL
