Lead Clinical Product Manager
Description
The Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Lead Clinical Product Manager Leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for the full end-to-end product lifecycle including strategic product planning, pricing, roadmap and execution
Exercises independent judgment and makes decisions on aspects of the assigned product(s) including managing the full end-to-end product lifecycle, user and buyer experiences, development and execution and for ensuring the investment and performance are consistent with customer needs
Defines the core metrics that will inform the success of the product(s)
Monitors performance and recommends enhancements, product gaps, cost adjustments or discontinue investment
Investigates facts and develops solutions to problems during the design and planning phases
Responsible for reporting on product-level outcomes as well as providing timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders
Has a solid understanding of the end-to-end member journey experiences, defines the requirements to drive improved customer experience and outcomes based on external inputs
Partners closely with operations, vendors, customer success teams and/or enterprise teams, to drive the development and product lifecycle
Provides strategic recommendations on new market opportunities, assesses client needs and builds ROI driven business plans
Accountable for defining the product value proposition and go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Product Marketing
Responsible for product performance including P&L/KPIs/NPS
Leads or directs operational readiness plan and ongoing performance
Role Essentials
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
7 years or more of product management experience
2 or more years of healthcare experience
Experience managing product performance including P&L and/or KPIs or NPS
Solid track record managing products that achieved clinical and financial outcomes
Competence working on very large and most complex assignments
Strong ability to drive cross functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate with a variety of business leaders from operators, to physicians, to management
Strong ability to independently lead and manage a cross-functional teams to alignment in the midst of ambiguity
