Fraud Product Owner
The Fraud Product Owner plays a critical role in protecting MassMutual and its customers from fraud and financial crimes.? The Fraud Product Owner is a leading member of the Fraud Operations Team and should possess a hybrid of business acumen, technical skills and customer centricity to support new and emerging opportunities in Fraud Prevention ?This role is responsible for becoming a Subject Matter Expert in Fraud Operations? technology suite, supporting stakeholder requirements and performing administrative functions with assigned tools including configuration, testing, and validation.
?The position reports to the Head of Fraud Strategy and works cross-functionally with Fraud and Business Teams and will work closely with the Trusted Identity project teams responsible for deploying Customer Identity capabilities focused on preventative solutions to mitigate emergent threats.? Ability to successfully interact and establish productive communications with vendor relations in managing delivery of product functionality or implementation of policy enhancement is key to the role. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert in Fraud Operations? technology suite and develop business acumen of business areas impacted by the tool(s).? The ability to gather business requirements, understand business processes and align assigned tool(s) to accommodate business changes is key to the success of this role.
The successful candidate will act as a relationship manager between Fraud and Business areas that are users of the assigned tool(s) to further understand business requirements and opportunities for improvement. ?The successful candidate will demonstrate interest in emerging trends and how they can translate into excellent customer experiences
Role Responsibilities include:?
- Communicating with stakeholders, including vendors,?customers, business managers, and working teams to make sure the goals are clear, and the vision is aligned with business objectives
- Representing the customers? voice and creating?a product vision together with the stakeholders. Every decision is taken with the product vision in mind. Conveys the vision to their team
- Become a Subject Matter Expert in Fraud Operations? technology suite and develop deep business acumen of business areas/processes impacted by toolset
- Acting as relationship manager between Fraud and Business Areas that are users of assigned tool(s) to understand business requirements and opportunities for improvement
- Analyzing tool(s) performance, optimizing policy tuning to mitigate any identified issues with successful deployment of toolset(s)
- Ability to interact with Business Partners across enterprise as well external vendor partners in successful administration of toolset and business needs
- Generating reports of tool performance to assess results and communicate to business and stakeholders
- Ability to recommend enhancements, modifications to toolset as needed for review and approval
- Ability to document, maintain standard operating procedures for tool administration
- Strong organization skills,?detail-oriented, and capable of self-managing and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years working within a technology enabled operational area
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and appropriately handle sensitive information
- Three years of experience working on technology projects in a business analyst /related role
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- 5+ years BA or SME experience
- 2+ years project management
- 2+ years? experience /Knowledge of Fraud related tools, technologies,?Cybersecurity tools and or protocols
